Glamorgan sausages

Glamorgan sausages (from de website C’est Maman qui l’a fait)

  • 225gr toast bread
  • 125gr grated cheese (« Comté » is the better one for this recipe)
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • ¼ tsp mustard
  • 60gr leek
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley
  • some butter
  • some milk
  • some breadcrumbs and flour
  • oil (to fry)
  1. Place the bread in a food processor and mix it with the parsley. Mince the leek and cook it in a buttered frypan for 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl pour the fresh bread crumbs, grated cheese, mustard, melted leeks and chopped parsley. Add a little pepper and salt.
  3. Beat 2 eggs and gradually pour them to get a firm stuffing. If the stuffing is still crumbly add a little milk, then put in a box and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
  4. Make about 12 croquettes out of the stuffing, then roll them into the flour.
  5. Fry in hot oil but not too much (170°C) until they get a golden brown color.

I've launched this blog project (after many others) at the beginning of my university studies in 2009. The goal was to share my bento pictures and recipes with all the friends that were asking for. The time passing by, my posts have changed, they got more diverse. Now that my last year in university has come (soon I'll be a graduate in communication, animation and events organisation), I've decided to pursue this projet a bit more seriously. So here I am ! From now, I'll make you discover my tiny life day to day ! I'm quite a short girl (150cm tall!) and I guess that my low angle vision of the world might be a bit different from the other people. You'll quickly understand that the little things of everyday life make me happy !

Between ecology influences, homemade madness, geek attitude and japculture.

Eccentric, you say?

Not at all ... it's much worse than you can imagine!
